Skyscrapers loom overhead, taxis honk their horns and street vendors shout as they peddle their wares. But the buzz of the city above is nothing compared to the amazing secrets simmering just beneath your feet. The History Channel ventures hundreds of feet beneath the pavement to reveal the hidden worlds that literally make up the foundations of today's greatest cities like New York, Istanbul, Cairo, London and Tokyo, where the layered remnants of entire civilizations await discovery. Our cameras are there with the archaeologists and scientists as they uncover the way people lived in these cities before we did.

Divine Canine
Each week, we'll follow Brother Christopher and the other monks and explore their unique relationships with the dogs that they breed and raise along with the outside dogs they train at their picturesque 500-acre monastic community in the rolling valleys of Cambridge, New York. We'll see how their holistic training approach can turn even the most resilient of misbehaving dogs into loving and obedient companions, to the delight of their previously frustrated human families.

Animal expert Dave Salmoni goes on a global exploration of predator-prey relationships and celebrates the perfection of the natural world.
